Vania was welcomed to the Alpine team in 2000 and has been an essential part to our success. As the Controller, Vania manages payroll, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Human Resources, and works closely with Steve on the y/e financials and general ledgers for the company. Vania's first job consisted of working for a Heavy Highway contractor at the age of 21. That is where she found her passion in accounting. She went back to school and finally graduated in 2008 with a B.A. in Accounting and Finance. She continues to educate herself on a regular basis to keep up to date on critical financial changes. In addition, she has gone on to become a Notary Republic for the State of New Jersey. Vania is also an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association. Besides managing most of the financial areas for Alpine, Vania has also been a key player in helping Alpine give back to the community. She is in charge of the Alpine Thanksgiving Food Drive and has won the Community Outreach Center’s Recognition Award in 2015 and 2016. During her spare time, Vania enjoys shopping, swimming, and is a skilled bowler. We are proud to see all the hard work she has done for the company and fortunate to have her on the Alpine team.
